Anti-intellectualism always makes me wary, because I associate it with the kind of politics that seem extremely harmful to me, so yeah. I'm disturbed by first what I see as the term being thrown around so easily *and* as an insult. This aca-fan not being true fans, wow. While the argument is not new when it comes to enjoying a piece of tv/art/writing etc., I've never completely understood how it can be accepted. I hope I'm missing something.
