Vids for ipod
I downloaded the first vid I've seen available for ipod! Yes, I'm excited, because I've wanted to be able to do this for a while, see vids in my phone, but never bothered to find out if it was possible to convert the files or what. In the fandoms I follow right now (SGA, SPN and Merlin) I've never seen anyone talking about formating for ipods, so I need to google and see if it's just not something that people are interested in or it's a big bother to try and convert the files.
My favorite vids always make me feel better after watching, so having a few with me at all times seems only to the good :D

But for my kids' nano 4th gen, those didn't work and actually kinda broke the ipod (I had to hard reboot every time)
I researched and found another program, Videora ipod converter, but it's fairly user unfriendly...

I'm hoping either videora (user unfreindly? oh-oh) or handbrake might work for me.

It used to be that iSquint (for mac) and Videora (for PC) were the standard ipod conversion tools. iSquint is gone, but Videora is still around:

And Handbrake (now for Mac, Linux, and Windows) has introduced a lot of ipod pre-sets:

(I love having vids on my phone!)

Vids are such wonderful things to be able to enjoy while I'm out and about, having my lunch or waiting around for any reason. Short burst of glee and pretty! What could be better to carry me through chores, doctor appointments and standing in line at the grocery store?!
