The only good thing here for me is that I've told myself several times that I don't need a seed account and to stop it with wanting one anyway. So I didn't try to get onem but whoa, if I had I'd be upset for a bit. The email I just got seems to have fixed things in offering more seed accounts.

Aw. Glad for you.

I personally am not sure it's DreamWidth; I have had huge trouble with PayPal in the past (and it doesn't help know people who have been frauded there).

Right, right. I get that it's a glitch with PayPal. I'm pretty distrustful of the service and it seems by your comments that I'm right to just go the less convenient way of sending off a check.
