Car stuff

We've achieved new car today! A 2009 Ford Fusion SE, out the door at a just under 19,000. Not bad, specially considering that my Corolla was only two thousand less and nowhere near as comfy. We had rebates, plus an X plan (a discount thing for family of Ford employees) and some extra reductions on the price.

This car is going to be Mr. Logovo's and will be our main car when we're driving around together. His old car is a '96 Camry which has held up pretty well and will now make it's way across the border to be my mom's car.

Yesterday I took the Corolla for it's first schedule service and surprised the guy taking down my info, since in 5 months I've only put in about 1,700 miles on my car. Aww, the wonderfulness of a short commute!

Congratulations on new car achievement.

The deals are probably pretty wild out there, too because the car industry wants the business.

You should have held out for 2 free movies a week ;) for a year.

I'm not clear about just how good a deal we got, but considering the Fusion has very good reviews I'm inclined to believe this is a once in our lifetime price. Mr. Logovo got the old Camry for about 20,000 back in '96, so getting a fancier new car for only 19,000 13 yrs later... yeah.

Silver! Because we're only allowed one bright colored car, and that would be mine ;) (which is sort of turquoise kind of green).
