I just read in my flist from 2 people that
minotaurs died from a heart attack.
ETA: This is a big shock. He was so much trying to leave San Diego and get to a more interesting city. Seattle seemed an option. I can't believe this.

Edited again, because I want to say something more but I'm still crying just thinking about it. I wasn't even a close friend, just someone who was lucky enough to spend some time with him, who enjoyed his company tremendously, his love of slash, fandoms and chocolate. Oh yes, he loved chocolate. I thought it was so funny when I saw a frou-frou chocolate store opening two blocks from his apartment, because it seemed it could become a place that would prove too tempting.
I regret so much that I didn't spend more time enjoying his humor and warmth and sense of fun.
I'm very glad I got to meet him, to spend time at cons with him, that he pimped Chuck to me and Being Human and Dante's Cove (went to the Escapade '09 panel because he kept talking about it and we all laughed and laughed) that I got to ride around in his little sports car when we drove up to Wincon, and heard him talk about the shows he loved.
He had a lot friends. He was the kind of person who had a lot of friends who loved him. He put himself out there and made an effort.
Stuart, I'm going to miss you.

He was such a great guy and like there was all this stuff he needed to do. I could not stop crying when I heard and now I'm crying again, but dammit he was such a joy to be around, I was just lucky enough to hang with him a few times and enjoyed the hell out of those few times,
