I’m hoping to come up with a good recipe, since we have a lot of vegan and vegetarian friends and it’s fun to experiment.I love the taste of corn masa, so I figured to I would try and highlight that with the help of lots and lots of olive oil and roasted pasilla peppers. Mostly it worked. Learning how to make tamales might be easier today thanks to youtube, but I haven’t really tried learning anything really complicated from their cooking channels. Maybe your SIL will try and rope you in on the wraping part one time, that is when you usually need all hands on deck - it is nice to do them with family :)
