::looks at icon:: I should say something about John, I've been thinking about him a bit more after finding this com in LJ called Swirlgate Project and (looks for link) hey, the post is gone!

Hmmm. I had a lot of problems with that post. It was full of mistakes that could have been corrected by a quick beta by a meta inclined SGA fan (I don't read that much meta compared to other people, but even I could see errors) but now it's gone and there is no explanation that I can see over at http://community.livejournal.com/swirlygate/.
For those that don't know, Swirlgate is a SGA related com that seems to be exploring gender and stereotypes by recasting John and Rodney as women and doing little webepisodes on YouTube. I have no idea if they're good or even just fun. I get embarrassed very easily and sometimes these projects hit that embarrassment button in me, so I'm waiting for the right moment to take a closer look.
It seems to me like this is a separate corner of the SGA fandom on LJ from the one I'm used to, because I don't recognize any of the names watching the com.
ETA: The post has been edited and has been put up againa here: http://community.livejournal.com/swirlygate/6765.html. Thanks to
