Never underestimate the power of a tuna sandwich eaten quietly while hearing NPR's The World, to bring back some calm back. Still stressed, but now it's down to manageable levels, thanks to sitting in the warmth of my car. I always associate the AC blasting, beige blandness of this and other workplaces with stress. It's good to get away and be in the real air real world.

Hmmm. I had a lot of problems with that post. It was full of mistakes that could have been corrected by a quick beta by a meta inclined SGA fan (I don't read that much meta compared to other people, but even I could see errors) but now it's gone and there is no explanation that I can see over at http://community.livejournal.com/swirlygate/.

For those that don't know, Swirlgate is a SGA related com that seems to be exploring gender and stereotypes by recasting John and Rodney as women and doing little webepisodes on YouTube. I have no idea if they're good or even just fun. I get embarrassed very easily and sometimes these projects hit that embarrassment button in me, so I'm waiting for the right moment to take a closer look.

It seems to me like this is a separate corner of the SGA fandom on LJ from the one I'm used to, because I don't recognize any of the names watching the com.
